Ordination to the Sacred Priesthood

On the Feast of St. Luke the Evangelist, the Bishop will lay hands upon a faithful deacon and ordain him to the sacred order of priests, according to the form in the 1928 Ordinal.

The ordination takes place within a solemn celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The clergy of the diocese will vest and process; the people of St. Bede's and the wider diocese are invited to share in this joyful day and to pray for the newly ordained.
